Stay Connected, Wherever You Go

CyberTel makes travel simple β€” all our plans include roaming so you can stay connected across the UK and the world.

However, the way your roaming works depends on which plan you have and whether you’re using your UK SIM or Global eSIM.

πŸ“± 1. UK SIM Roaming (Your Main Number)

Your UK SIM is what you use for your calls, texts, and core data allowance. It works across the UK and many international destinations, depending on your plan.

Plan

Zones Included

Details

Core, Student, Responder

Zones 1 & 2

Works across the EU/EEA, USA, Canada, Australia, and South Africa. Roaming is disabled outside of Zone 1 & 2 by default to prevent unexpected costs. Contact us if you need temporary access to additional zones.

Explorer

Zones 1–3

Works in 88 destinations including Turkey, UAE, Brazil, and Singapore. Roaming outside of Zone 3 is blocked unless you activate your Global eSIM.

Globetrotter, Aero, RailReach, Sail, Forces

Zones 1–4

Includes unlimited calls and texts on the UK SIM in Zones 1–4. These plans also include a Global eSIM for worldwide data access.

πŸ’‘ If you try to roam in an unsupported zone on your Core, Student, or Responder plan, your data connection will pause automatically to protect you from unexpected bills.

🌐 2. Global eSIM Roaming (Worldwide Data Access)

If you’re on an Explorer, Globetrotter, Aero, RailReach, Sail, or Forces plan β€” you’ll also have a Global eSIM.

This is your worldwide data profile, giving you instant access to 205 destinations and all 4 UK networks.

Feature

What It Does

🌍 Global Coverage

Works in 205 destinations across all 6 CyberTel zones.

πŸ”„ Auto-Connect

Automatically connects to the strongest available local network.

πŸ’Ύ Data-Only

Your UK SIM handles calls and texts, while the Global eSIM provides data.

πŸ“΄ No Overage

Data pauses automatically once your allowance is used β€” no surprise charges.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ UK Multi-Network Access

Connects to EE, O2, Vodafone, and Three β€” perfect backup if your main network is down.

πŸ’¬ Unlimited Calls & Texts (Zones 1–4)

On Globetrotter, Aero, RailReach, Sail, and Forces plans, your UK SIM includes unlimited calls and texts across all four primary roaming zones.

πŸ’‘ You can use both at once β€” the UK SIM for calls and texts, and the Global eSIM for roaming data.

In the UK, CyberTel gives you unbeatable coverage

  • EE for your main UK SIM (primary network)

  • O2, Vodafone, and Three via your Global eSIM for seamless multi-network access

  • 5G available in most towns and cities
