It connects automatically to the strongest local network and gives you high-speed 5G data almost anywhere.

It works seamlessly alongside your UK SIM or eSIM โ€” one for your calls and texts, one for global data.

๐Ÿ’ก Before You Start

Youโ€™ll need:

  • A compatible unlocked phone that supports multiple eSIMs

  • A WiFi connection (for installation)

  • Your UK SIM/eSIM already active (for calls and texts)

๐Ÿ’ฌ You will not receive a separate activation email for the Global eSIM โ€” it activates as soon as itโ€™s installed.

๐Ÿ“ฑ How to Install the Global eSIM

For iPhone (iOS 16 or later)

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Mobile Data โ†’ Add eSIM

  1. Choose Use QR Code

  1. Scan your Global eSIM QR code from your CyberTel Account or welcome email

  1. Tap Add Mobile Plan

  1. Label it (we recommend โ€œCyberTel Globalโ€)

  1. Under Mobile Data, set:

  • Default Line: CyberTel Global

  • Voice Line: CyberTel UK (for calls & texts)

  1. Once installed, continue below to set your APN settings

For Android (Samsung, Google, and others)

  1. Open Settings โ†’ Network & Internet โ†’ SIMs

  1. Tap Add eSIM or Download a SIM instead

  1. Choose Use QR Code and scan your Global eSIM QR code

  1. Follow the on-screen prompts

  1. Set CyberTel Global as your preferred data SIM

  1. Then set your APN manually (see below)

โš™๏ธ APN Settings (Required for Data)

Once installed, you must configure the Access Point Name (APN) for data to work correctly.

To update your APN:

iPhone:

  • Go to Settings โ†’ Mobile Data โ†’ Mobile Data Network

  • Under Mobile Data, enter data00.telnyx in the APN field

  • Leave all other fields blank

  • Return to the main settings page

Android:

  • Go to Settings โ†’ Network & Internet โ†’ SIMs โ†’ CyberTel Global โ†’ Access Point Names

  • Tap Add APN

  • Enter data00.telnyx as the APN name

  • Save and select it

๐Ÿ’ฌ Data will start working within 1โ€“2 minutes after saving the APN.

๐ŸŒ Enable Data Roaming

After installing your Global eSIM, you must enable data roaming for it to work abroad.

iPhone:

  • Go to Settings โ†’ Mobile Data โ†’ CyberTel Global โ†’ Data Roaming โ†’ ON

Android:

  • Go to Settings โ†’ Network & Internet โ†’ SIMs โ†’ CyberTel Global โ†’ Data Roaming โ†’ ON

๐Ÿ’ก You only need to enable roaming for your Global eSIM, not your UK SIM.
