🚨 First Things to Try
✅ Quick Fix: Turn Airplane Mode ON for 10 seconds, then OFF again.
This forces your device to reconnect to the correct Global eSIM network and often activates data instantly.
1️⃣ Check Mobile Data Switching is ON
Your phone must be able to switch data automatically between your UK SIM and the Global eSIM when you travel.
🔧 How to enable:
Settings → Mobile Data → Mobile Data Switching → ON
💬 If this is OFF, the Global eSIM will not activate abroad — even if installed correctly.
2️⃣ Check You’re in a Supported Global eSIM Destination
Global eSIM only activates in 205 approved countries.
✅ If your country is NOT listed in the Global eSIM Coverage List — data will not connect, even if everything else is correct.
Cruise ships, inflight networks and satellite coverage zones will also show “No Service” or show a network without data — this is intentional to stop satellite billing.
3️⃣ Make Sure Data Roaming is ON for the Global eSIM
Your Global eSIM profile must have Data Roaming enabled.
🔧 How to check:
Go to Settings → SIMs / Mobile Plans
Select CyberTel Global eSIM
Switch Data Roaming → ON ✅
💡 No need to change anything on the UK SIM — just ensure Global eSIM has Data Roaming active.
4️⃣ Confirm That Global eSIM is Set as the Data Line
✅ Quick Fix:
Go to Preferred Data SIM / Mobile Data Line → Choose CyberTel Global eSIM
Then make sure “Allow Mobile Data Switching” stays ON
5️⃣ Do NOT Delete or Remove the eSIM
Deleting or disabling your Global eSIM profile will stop it activating and will require support to reissue it manually.
⚠ Keep both SIMs installed. Global eSIM only activates abroad — it will stay idle in the UK.
6️⃣ Refresh the Connection If It Still Doesn’t Activate
✅ Full Refresh Steps:
Turn Airplane Mode ON
Restart your phone
Turn Airplane Mode OFF again
Wait up to 2 minutes — look for 4G/5G/LTE icon appearing
7️⃣ Final Step — Check APN Settings (For data not loading even when signal appears)
If your Global eSIM shows signal (4G/5G/LTE) but web pages don’t load, your APN may need to be set manually.
✅ Required APN for all CyberTel Global eSIMs:

Settings → Mobile Data → Mobile Data Network → APN → Enter data00.telnyx
Android:
Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Access Point Names → Select CyberTel eSIM → APN → data00.telnyx
